St.Thomas College Thavalappara Konni is a self financing Arts & Science educational institution affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam established by Malankara Orthodox Church, Diocese of Thumpamonm, Pathanamthitta. The college is named after the patron saint St Thomas who is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ who came to India in 52AD. He bestowed the light of the gospel to India and established a Christian community in India especially in Kerala which came to be known as Malankara Nazaranis. The motto of our college is Wisdom, Love, and Service. The college offers 7 UG courses and 2 PG course. Situated in a pristine location in Thavalappara, a village in the hilly area of Konni. Founded in the year 2012, the college has stitched a place in the fabric of this environment friendly milieu. The college is weighed as one of the pioneer institutions to impart higher education to the people around. In the year of 2017, Supreme Head of Indian Orthodox ChurchH.H Baselios Marthoma Paulose II inaugurated the new college building and it marked a new epoch in our college history.
