The Department of Commerce began functioning in 2012 with the B.Com Computer Application course. The Department added the B.com Finance and Taxation Course in 2013. The year 2015 witnessed the department’s elevation to a postgraduate department of commerce with the launch of the M.com-Finance course.
From 2024, the Department offers two Honours courses such as B. Com Finance & Taxation and B. Com Logistics and CoOperation in accordance with the MGU-UGP 2024.With a focus on career advancement, many number of our students hold certificates in CMA, MBA, and M. Com., and still others are working toward certifications in CA, CMA, CS, and MBA.
Through demanding placement training, competitive exam coaching, industrial visits and study tours, we place a high priority on shaping students into professionals who are ready for the workforce. Our lively learning community, supported by organizations like the Commerce Association and the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) club helps students grow holistically and gets them ready for success in the energetic world of business and beyond.
