The Department of Computer Applications has started in the year 2013. The department offers the course Bachelor of Computer Application. The duration of the course shall be of three years divided into six semesters. Our department has been consistently producing good results. The BCA degree course prepares the students for manpower requirement of the fast developing IT industry. It provides students with necessary skills to make successful career as professional in competitive situation with satisfying jobs. It also prepares students with the requisite background to proceed with confidence for higher studies in the form of MCA, MIT, MS in Computer science, MBA etc and thus acquire greater competency. The department has a well equipped lab with a capacity of 40 systems. It is supported by UPS apart from the generators which keep the lab in working condition all the time. Our alumni are well placed. The department has evolved a comprehensive student centric learning approach, designed to add significant value to the learners understanding in an integrated manner through lab sessions, assignments, seminars and projects.
